Treating people as individuals At Sands School, we value people as individuals. Students are free to be themselves, and to explore their own paths through education. Staff are able to teach their subjects to GCSE free of the strict guidelines of the national curriculum. There are no uniforms, no petty rules resulting in detentions, and everyone is on first name terms. All are equal.
