Jocelyn Farr (BA ExeHons)

Teaching assistant

I started at Sands as a student 12 years ago and have been involved every since.  Since leaving sands at 16 i’ve been to college, work and university. Throughout that time i kept close links with the school. Being a governer until very recently, when i was offered a job at the school.  My job now is as a teaching assistant supporting the Y1 class.  I’m also looking to broaden my position in assisting the school. Helping the staff in its knowledge and support of autistic spectrum disorders.

I believe I also hold the record for having been on the most cosecutive school camps.  Camp is perhaps the high light of the Sands year, and every year it is something i cherish going on.  Since leaving as a student,  i  support the often exhusted staff in this end of the year trip somewhere exciting.
