I’ve seen the school evolve over the past 16 years. I started off in the office and moved on to teaching Drama for 3 years and then back to admin again so that I could pursue my singing work outside the school. I’m still here doing three mornings a week and still enjoying my big Sands family. I really think that’s it’s a brilliant place for those students who make their choice to be here and just wish that there could be lots of schools with similar philosophies around the country. Sands can be chaotic, friendly, frustrating, amazing, happy, caring and definitely a one-off!
