I graduated in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and Design and then pursued a career in graphic design until I put my career on hold to home educate my two children. I have been passionate about alternative education since going to a Democratic school for a year when I was young which was a life changing experience. Observing first hand how well my own children learnt when they are intrinsically motivated changed my view of education forever. Before joining Sands School I co-founded a self-directed learning community and am now delighted to be able to contribute to this very special school.
I am still passionate about art and paint and draw when I can, I also love vegetarian food and couldn’t live without earl grey tea.
